Who can resist Lobsters? Our Valentine's Dinner Date at Pince & Pints

Whole succulent Lobsters just make you stare and start drooling...

Luckily, it seems like my not-so-subtle hinting has worked and prompted my fiance to bring me to Pince & Pints for our early Valentine's celebration! Anyone who knows me well enough knows I'm crazy about lobsters and seafood.

There are 2 outlets in Singapore, one in Duxton and one in Katong. The Duxton branch is way bigger, while the branch in Katong only seats up to 10+ people, so it's definitely wise to get a reservation.

I personally love their steamed Live Whole Lobster with Butter sauce ($58++), as you will be able to taste the real taste of the lobster. It comes with Chef’s Salad and Straight-cut Fries. If you are more health-conscious you can change the fries to white rice. We got 2 sets of this and the healthy PT fiance changed his fries to rice.

We also got the Classic Lobster Roll but I don't feel like its very worth it as it cost $48++ without the sides and fries, and I find the lobster roll at the Chunky Lobsters at The Cathay much more value-for-money, with chunkier lobsters and nicer toasted buns at only $16.

I've read some reviews that the Black Pepper Lobster and Chilli Lobsters are really nice too. They've also recently launched the Cantonese-style Steamed Lobster. Perhaps I will try it the next time when I'm feeling better, though I still prefer the original taste of the lobster without strong flavours.

Check out the full menu on their website.

The lobsters from Pince & Pints are air-flown from Atlantic Coast. And an additional plus, environmental advocates would love to know that at Pince & Pints, they only import their lobsters and seafood from fisheries that practice sustainable fishing methods.

Here's the super happy fiance indulging on his lobster! XD

The fiance also surprised me with a huge bouquet and he's super proud of it. <3

All in all it's a great experience at Pince & Pints. We managed to save quite a lot with the Klook cash vouchers that we bought. Best part about this is the allow multiple vouchers to be used in 1 bill, so we saved $22 on 2 x $100 value vouchers which we bought for only $178. But honestly if you do not eat alot, just getting 1 x $100 voucher (for $89) is sufficient to cover 2 lobster sets for 2 pax. So the next time you are planning to dine there, don't forget to buy the voucher via Klook to save! You can choose from $50/ $100 value vouchers available for either the Duxton/ Katong branch.

But great news for all lobster lovers, my all-time favourite Burgers & Lobsters all the way from London, is finally opening a branch in Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport! As you can tell by now I've super duper eggcited!!!! XD The price in their London branches are really reasonable but let's pray they don't put a heavier price tag on the menu in Singapore.

Stay tuned for my next review once it's opened!
